Free valuations.
These are conducted at the request of a given individual without them having any legal effects or implications. There are various kinds depending on the various purposes, and they are used in arbitrations without having to resort to the Courts.
Such valuations are not subject to any rules or norms, and so do not have to comply with any formal requirements, with the exception of those stipulated by the person requesting the valuation. There is no need to verify the legal or fiscal validity etc. of the information supplied; this does not prevent the valuations from being conducted thoroughly and with all the necessary documentation.
The following feature amongst the most frequently employed valuations:
A. Decisions on the value of property, requested by the owners prior to initiating any commercial negotiations (sale, mortgage, capital contributions to companies etc. )
B. Prior prerequisites as to the value of property for various purposes: restoration and demolition studies, etc.
C. Non-legal valuations for amicable division of assets for various purposes (divorces, division of inheritances, division of jointly-owned properties, dissolution or division of family-owned businesses, partition or exchange of estates).
